I admitted I was wrong about never seeing Bitcoin at 60K again. That's the nature of predictions. But here's the real picture now. The AI bubble will burst, and when it does, it will drag all of crypto down with it. Bitcoin can only rise from the ashes after everything gets cleared out. This isn't the time to make money. It's the time to preserve capital. Last week, I sold everything that wasn't a core position. HYPE, NEAR, WLD, all gone. ZEC was liquidated due to the Orchard Pool issue. Now I'm only holding Bitcoin and Ethereum. ETH is practically dead but still breathing. No reason to sell it right now. Here's the critical insight: Bitcoin dropped 50% after hitting 125K in October 2025 because AI sucked up all the newly printed USD. The M2 money supply increased by 1.5 trillion since November 2022, and AI debt consumed exactly that amount. Bitcoin had no liquidity left to absorb. Three arrows will pop the AI bubble: 1. Oil prices rising, pushing electricity costs up, crushing margins for Google, Anthropic, and OpenAI 2. Three massive IPOs from SpaceX, Anthropic, and OpenAI all hitting in September, with the market unable to absorb them 3. Trump turning against AI for the midterm elections, even just with rhetoric Oil is the starting point. With current prices, neither Trump nor Iran has incentive to negotiate. A stalemate until Q3. Once war stockpiles deplete, spot prices will surge. Oil at 150 is mathematically inevitable. AI stocks can't survive that. I've sold all of them. Instead, I'm buying US-listed energy production stocks. Everything in the world is a derivative of energy, and energy prices are going up. Most scenarios here are profitable. Bitcoin will dump first, then pump later. The AI bubble bursts, financial crisis hits, then massive money printing brings Bitcoin back to life. I'm holding through the storm with tactical shorts on derivatives. Not the time to chase gains. Preserve capital. Stay disciplined. The recovery will come.
