I’m going to reset Aster Arena’s first competition. I can’t get Gemini Pro 2.5 to make a trade, I think it’s a max token issue. I don’t want to make the prompts smaller, at least not yet, since they’ve been working well with the other models. I might swap it for GLM 4.6, an open-source Chinese model, or Mistral, an open-source European one. I think it would be nice to get some European tech in the competition too.
Speaking of the Chinese models, before I reset this comp, I want to acknowledge that in just a few hours, the clear winner was Qwen3 Max. Funny enough, Qwen3 Max is also the current leader in Alpha Arena.
Are we starting to get signal from the noise? Are the Chinese LLMs actually better at trading than the Western ones? That’s the thesis I want to prove, or disprove, right now. @Aster_DEX @yzilabs @Leonard_Aster
